Sig Sauer hit the Airgun scene several years ago, and they have developed a passionate following amongst many airgunners. In this article, we’ll take a look at some of their most popular offerings here on Airgun Depot.
Sig Sauer MCX Gen 2
The Sig MCX is a 1 to 1 replica of the MCX firearm. With flip-up sights, 30-round belt-fed mag, and semi-auto action, it’s a ton of fun to shoot. The large 88-gram CO2 cartridge delivers up to 200 rounds of 540 fps pellet-slinging good times. The new generation of Sig’s MCX delivers an improved firing system, grip, and M-Lok handguard. For folks looking to pull the trigger on an MCX without having to spend a ton on ammo, this is a great option.
Sig Sauer MCX Rattler Canebrake
The MCX Rattler Canebrake is based directly on the powder burner counterpart. It has a shorter profile than the standard MCX but features the same upgrades as the Gen 2. The most noticeable upgrade is the improved trigger system. The belt-fed mag is advanced during the trigger pull, which was somewhat problematic with the Gen 1 models. All that is a thing of the past. The Canebrake model is a great replica and delivers on the fit, finish, and feel of the real thing.
Sig Sauer 1911 Spartan BB Pistol
Can you ever have too many 1911 BB Pistols? We don’t think so, and neither do our customers. Sig’s 1911 Sparta BB Pistol features awesome styling, exceptional build quality, and amazing performance and accuracy. It’s a full size and weight replica that simply feels awesome in the hand. It features a semi-automatic blowback action, full metal slide and frame, 16-round bb magazine, cam lever CO2 loading port, skeletonized hammer and trigger, and weaver accessory rail.
Sig Sauer MCX Virtus
Moving from CO2-powered Sig airguns for a moment, we need to talk about the Sig Virtus. Chambered for .22 cal pellets, this semi-automatic AR replica is fed from a regulated 3000 PSI bottle. Firing .22 cal pellets at up to 700 FPS from its belt-fed 30-round magazine, shooters can enjoy a ton of trigger time without having to spend a ton of money on CO2. Other features include a 17.5” rifled steel barrel, M-LOK handguard, and standard flip-up open sights.
Sig Sauer P226 Pellet Pistol
Our final Sig for the day is the Sig Sauer P226 Pellet Pistol. Just looking at this pistol sitting on a table and you’d never know it wasn’t the real deal. Even picking it up will take most folks a few moments to realize they are holding a replica pellet pistol and not the real thing. This is a true 1 to 1 replica with the same weight, feel, and switches found on the official firearm. Key features include a full metal slide and frame, rifled steel barrel, 16-round rotary mag, cam-operated CO2 piercing system, Picatinny rail, fixed front and rear sights, and the list keeps on going. Moreover, the Sig Sauer P226 models are life-tested up to 15k rounds. You know this model is built to last.
