The Crosman 357 Vigilante is unique semi-automatic bb and pellet gun. The revolver styling and finger-molded grip design, perfect for action shooting. 6" barrel helps with accuracy and velocity. Powered by CO2 and available single or double action the Vigilante air revolver is easy to use, as well as accurate with its six inch rifled steel barrel. Don't forget to pick up a laser or flashlight to mount on the picatinny rails! The rear sight is fully adjustable, but feel free to add a laser or flashlight on the Weaver accessory rail. This is a great gun for shooting tin cans, plinking, hitting spinners and more. It's an all-day shooter so stock up on ammo and CO2! The Crosman Vigilante has a lot going for it: 10rd pellet repeater, 6rd BB repeater, real revolver mechanism, and single, or double-action. This airgun is perfect to have fun with target's in your backyard or rat hunting.

Pros
The long barrel help with the accuracy and the adjustable rear sight works well.

Cons
Not to strong at log range.

Well constructed for what it is. easy to hold steady on target.

Pros
Extra Discs for the pellets makes reloading a chore but the shooting is more fun because of them. Sight picture is adequate for close work. CO2 lasts longer than I expected. I really liked the rifled barrel and how it contributed to accuracy.

Cons
Sights could be improved with Tritium sights. Gun would be perfect if made in metal.Chrome and Blue finishes.

Got a good 80 shots with one co2. Power is pretty dam good.

Pros
Shooting with very good velocity. did better with accuracy than most of my guns.I bought it because the crony tests results I saw on you tube.

Cons
Cannot pierce the Co2 with the grips/handles on.

I can't say enough good things about this Crosman Vigilante, I own 2 of them, One is the older 357 mag, before it was designated the "Vigilante" Super accurate with a cheap Red/green dot sight, affordable to buy and add extra mag wheel cylinders, east to operate, opens like a Scholfield. Shoots heavy wadcutter pellets best, dead on out to 30 yards, will punch a hole in a steel soup can inside or 25 yards on a straight on shot.

Pros
Some tips 1) shoot Crosman 7.4 gr wadcutter pellets, cheap 1250 milk carton $8 at Walmart, best, most accurate. 2) Only use Umarex quality CO2s, the Daisy and Crosman are weak and dirty with soot 3) Use the clear Gamo air gun oil,Pelgun red dye crap sucks 4) a cheap Red/Green dot sight, $14-$20, it must have the narrow, straight tube not to cover the break button 5) I shoot my Vigilante without the grips, so my hand keeps the CO2 warmer and stronger 6) Buy a FOAMACTION Rifle and Pistol Shooting Block Bench Rest and weight it with a heavy bolt or fishing weight and seal it with Hot Melt Glue so it doesn't blow over. 7) It's a personal choice, I paint all my realistic looking Air Guns with an Orange muzzle. I live in an Urban Setting, surrounded by Democrats Here's a pic of my Vigilante, Hope this helped...

Cons
I would improve the cylinder position lock, the wheel clip will move when the gun doesn't have the trigger to the rear to allign it. A click in position lock between shots would keep the wheel clip from moving past the next shot. Also,Maybe make a super Vigilante with twin CO2s, perhaps in 22 cal....?

I bought a Vigilante a couple of years ago and it has proven to be very reliable and fun to shoot.. So for this Christmas I ordered three more for presents to the grandchildren. They're easier for the kids to operate than some of the others, especially the spring piston and SSPs I thought they would like but weren't strong enough for.

Pros
Reliable and easy to operate. I chronied mine at 450+/-.

Cons
Might be a little hard to break open to change cyclinders. The grips had some play but was easily cured with electrical tape judiciously positioned.

I order this so I would be able to shoot in my backyard. Although it is a bit louder than I anticipated it is every bit as fun as I expected.

Pros
Inexpensive Easy to load and shoot

Cons
A bit loud Handle is a bit of a loose fit

By Ryan W.August 3, 2017

I bought this gun a few days ago and have shot about 10 different types of pellets through it, it favors crosman premiere 7.9 grn hollow points, but with all ammo I used it shot great and was very accurate at 20 yrds, I was able to shoot all the was through a 1/4 in peice of plywood at 10 yrds, so this gun hits hard

Pros
Solid Really accurate Hits hard Never jams

Cons
Loose grip, but preforms so great that u won't notice

How powerful is this gun? Is it strong enough to pierce a watermelon?

asked john

The grips are loose and floppy after extended use. Does anybody know of a "fix" for this, or where to purchase replacement grips?

asked George

would this be good for small pest like stray cats

asked austin

NO! Shooting stray cats would be inappropriate for a number of reasons, but more specifically, shooting any animal the size of a cat with THIS airgun would only result in injury and torture of the animal. Regardless of your intentions, it's HIGHLY UNLIKELY that a humane "kill shot" is achievable, but probable that IF the animal does dies, it will be a long and languishing death. More likely, the animal won't die, but will be suffer for too long. Find a better solution to your problem, please.

Victor from Afghanistan

I live out in the country and have used it to scare, get rid of rabbits, field mice, snakes and even the occastional racoon. Have a dot sight on mine that helps with quick sight picture with moving targets. Have not had any problems with my gun

Greg from USA

No. It does not shoot at a high enough velocity. All you will do is wound the animal and cause it to needlessly suffer. Get yourself an inexpensive .22 cal pellet rifle.

ON AIR GUN DEPOT HOW MUCH DOES SHIPPING COST FOR CO2

asked DANIEL

Daniel, Depending on what quantity you purchase in the CO2 you would be looking at anything from 5 to 10 dollar range. Hopefully that answers your question. Sincerely, Airgun Depot Customer Care Team

I wish to know the 357 stands up well to long use and any problems that may arise with the locking system

asked verdun from USA

Does it shoot arrow heads?

asked jason

Yes it will shoot arrow heads but I recommend using only crosman pellets for they fit more snug in the clip.

Kyle from USA

Is the item worth the money? And is it all metal?

asked Julius Bennett

This item is definitely worth the money! Other retailers have it at around $65. But the price is just icing on the cake. It's highly rated by a lot of customers (over 260), and according to one review is as good as other similar air-pistols costing 3 to 5 times as much. But none of that is as important as my own personal experience with it. My experience with it has been very good. It's very accurate. It has a decent trigger (as single-action and double-action). I get around 70 good shots per CO2 cartridge. The sights are excellent, with the rear being fully adjustable in both elevation and windage. It is not all metal. It has a lot of plastic, but that is not such a bad thing. The plastic is durable, but also makes the pistol light. This is a very good training gun. If you execute proper fundamentals, this gun will hit its mark. It will also expose YOUR weaknesses. The lightweight, good trigger, and accuracy will help isolate fundamental weaknesses, so that you will know what to improve upon. Any expert will shoot well with this pistol. It delivers. You don't need blow-back, and you don't need a heavy gun to master pistol fundamentals. So you don't need to spend hundreds of dollars for something that perfectly simulates a firearm. Recoil tends to mask the shooters mistakes. That's why ALL world class shooters "dry-fire". This pistol provides the best of all worlds for perfect practice. It shoots like dry-firing, and yet because of it's accuracy, it will allow you to measure YOUR performance. It's cheaper than taking many times as long to figure out where and how your are weak using live firearm ammo.

Victor from Afghanistan

Hi there. It is not all metal but it shoots beautifully and very accurately. Zeroing the sights is easy enough with a flat screwdriver. Make sure you buy a bunch of spare co2 cartridges, they're 12 grams but they go quickly. The action is easy and smooth; it is DA as well as SA. It has an excellent heft and fits in a large hand well. The ergonomic grip is particularly comfortable and there is - in my opinion - no kickback. It is somewhat quiet since the only real noise is that of the gas discharge. I haven't evaluated the duration of a co2 cartridge, but it seems to be satisfactory. It is a fine looking specimen and is extremely fun to shoot.

Scott from USA

Can you mount a red dot reflex sight on it?

asked Shea from USA

Yes a scope/sight can be mounted, but needs to be able to fit the 11mm dovetail configuration on the top of this pistol's barrel. Crosman and other manufacturers do make such sights although I was unable to find the Crosman red-dot sight I have employed on my Crosman 357 here under sights. It does work well, however for a cheap sight, and has made an already accurate air pistol much more so! There is a sight here that may well fit and work well for under $20. Here is the link: http: //www.airgundepot.com/nc-star-red-dot-sight-1x25-compact-red-dot-integrated-weaver-and-dovetail-mount.html#reviews This may be one of the sights whose mounting bracket simply is reversed to fit either a Weaver/picatinny or the dovetail mount, but best to check before ordering it.

Rick from USA

What is the difference between this gun and the Crossman 357 other than the free cylinders and holster?

asked Tim

No difference. Exact same gun. The pack w/ the free cylinders & holster is the BEST DEAL. Can't find a better deal anywhere but here in AGD.

TheJohnny from USA

Would this have enough power to kill a squirrel out to 25 yards?

asked steven from USA

This may, but why kill him? also the amount of co2 in the cartridge, say new one verses old one almost out of power makes a difference.

gloria from USA

does it come with co2 cartrages

asked t

Includes: Pistol and (1) 10 Round Clip

Scott from USA

is it made of metal ?

asked Luke

No it is not made out of metal.

Scott from USA

What does this include? is it just the gun?

asked Mark from USA

Just the gun

Scott from USA

Is this metal?

asked Jack

Jack, The barrel of the Model 3576W Magnum CO2 Air Pistol is made of rifled steel, however, the grip/frame is synthetic. Sincerely, The Airgun Depot Customer Care Team

Steve from USA

What size CO2 cartridge does this use?

asked Wade

Does this gun shoot pellets or just BB's?

asked Jim

This gun will shoot pellets only, do not use bbs.

Steve from USA

can you also shoot bb's with this gun ?

asked thomas from USA

yes you can it gives you a disk for bb

stuard from USA

The answer to your question is no. A pellet measures .177 and a bb measures .172 and would not stay seated the disk. Also the bb would not engage the rifleling in the barrel resulting the loss of accuracy.Hope this information was helpful.

kenneth from USA

Pellets only.
