The Kral Puncher Mega, Synthetic stock is a Turkish made sidelever PCP that is a high-end rifle in a price friendly package. Featuring quality construction and features that airgunners love the Puncher Mega makes a perfect utility airgun for both hunting and target shooting. The heart of the Puncher Mega is a side lever action that uses spring driven rotary magazines or a single shot tray ( both of which are included!), a 2 stage adjustable trigger, a shrouded barrel to keep things quiet, and a 330 cc air cylinder with a 200 BAR fill pressure to give you 50 to 60 shots per fill. This version of the Puncher Mega features a black finish and an all-weather synthetic stock. The stock is truly ambidextrous and features a rubber butt pad and an adjustable cheek riser to make sure that you get the perfect sight picture when lining up your shot. The Kral Puncher Mega is a fantastic rifle for those looking for an all purpose, easy to shoot air rifle. Kral Puncher Mega Features Diagram Kral Arms Puncher Mega Sidelever Air Rifle

This is an update to my previous review. Unfortunately I can no longer recommend this rifle. Although the barrel and air valve are excellent it has developed an epic failure. The side lever was no longer locking back making it difficult to seat or remove the magazine. The problem continued to worsen. Now the side lever when cocked back fails to engage the trigger. The rifle will not fire. I have contacted both Airgun Depot and Air Venturi and waiting to hear back from Air Venturi. Horseshoes and hand grenades, this rifle was so close to being outstanding. I don't know if this is a one off or an epidemic. Remember, Airgun Depot is just the retailer and Air Venturi is just the importer. They did not manufacture the air rifle. CAVEAT EMPTOR, buyer beware.

This is my very 1st pcp. I have multi pumps and break barrels and did alot of research on pcps before I made this purchase. I think I did great for the money in my opinion. This is literally a $700+ rifle and it shows in its performance as well as its great build quality. I have rambled enough but I want to say this... out of the box with only adding ammo/scope, I got 80 shots and could have gotten at least 20 more, I just stopped shooting when it got to 100 bar, and the last shot hit just as hard as the 1st. I know because the steel target I shot last was dented! If you get this rifle you made a great decision.

Pros
Super accurate, super light trigger out of the box, side lever moves good, great shot count, hand pump friendly, arrived fast and fully aired up, holds air great, a steal for the price ($249 in .25 cal).

Cons
Sometimes, and I mean like only 2 or 3 times out of the 70 to 80 or so pulls of the lever, pushing the lever back forward got caught up a little bit, I'm assuming by the pin not going directly into the pellet skirt due to the somewhat loose fitting of the pellets. I simply pushed the lever forward again and it worked liked a charm. The trigger is adjustable, so I may tinker with it but there was once or twice that barely pulling the trigger shot the rifle as if it was one stage that shot.. As you can see, these are not really cons as I had to knit pick to find a piece of a con. I'm super satisfied with this purchase!

Too much to say so just the facts. All testing was done on the same day. I was seated with gun resting on backrest of a bench. Air temperature --mid 70's; humidity 18 percent and falling; crosswinds 15 mph gusting to 20+; elevation 4000 ft. Brimstone slugs (34.89 gr) mid 850's fps at full power; shot count- 46 JSB and JTS pellets (25.39 gr) low 850's fps two clicks down on power port; shot count- 60. .50 ctc at 50 yards with slugs and pellets. .75 ctc at 75 yards with both. 1.2 ctc at 100 yards with slugs. 1.6 ctc at 100 yards with pellets. My gun is fantastic. The trigger breaks at 1.3 lbs and the stroke is very short. Off a bag or bipod with less wind I have no doubt the results would have been better. The shot curve is pretty flat for an unregulated air rifle. This is what we need to see more of. Perhaps I got the pick of the litter. My only regret is that I didn't purchase it sooner. For what it's worth, highly recommended.

Pros
Accuracy, trigger, shot count, magazine shot counter, fill pressure, cylinder size, slug friendly, good balance and shoulders well.

Cons
Fill probe that requires threaded adapter if fill source is quick connect . No single shot tray, dubious warranty (anything that can go wrong is not covered). Barrel band --mine was canted a couple of degrees to the left making accuracy impossible. Loosened set screws and centered barrel.

I really love this gun! I used to be a Hatsan gun person all the way, until this! It is very accurate right out of the box and hits hard even from 45 yards! The cocking lever is smooth as butter and the magazines work flawlessly for quick follow up shots. It is very quiet and weighs hardly anything so you could carry it in the field easily. The two stage trigger adjusts easily but I found that it really does not need it. All in all, I would recommend this rifle to anyone, you will not be disappointed and the price is right too!

Pros
Everything!

Cons
Nothing!

Why is it on sale 300 off? Is it always on sale at that price to make us thing we're getting a deal? Arghh I'm so close to buying this thing even tho I've never looked at it before. And that guy up there said it shot slugs good at 100 yards but it doesn't even mention slugs in the info!

asked Jonathan from USA

Can a suppressor be added?

asked Keith from USA

Yes, go to DonnyFL, they sell an adapter for the Kral puncher that you can screw a suppressor on.

Raymond from USA

Are there any after market parts upgrade upgrade for this gun

asked Sammy from USA

The 26 round magazine is a bit pricey, but nice since this gun has a decent air reserve and go through pellets on a single charge. It fits extremely tight in the slot, and takes some force to insert and remove, but I imagine over time that will get better as the plastic wears. It is easy to load the magazine with a flip open design. I have a scope mounted on my .22 and it fits underneath just fine.

Ryan from USA

Why the half-shroud?

asked Toby from USA

That is how Kral designed the rifle.
