Our #1 selling air pistol (and has been for years) is now being offered as a refurbished model. This full-sized pistol is constructed with both cast metal and plastic. Gun barrel is 6” rifled steel and grip is synthetic. The front of the pistol is plastic, while the main part is metal. The Refurbished Crosman 357 Vigilante delivers a realistic shooting experience and shoots up to 435 feet per second (FPS). It is powered by a CO2 cartridge that can be found in the gun’s handle. We recommend adding a drop of Crosman Pellgun Oil on the tip of each Co2 cartridged to extend the life of your pistol. The revolver styling and finger grip design, perfect for action shooting. 6" barrel helps with accuracy and velocity. Don't forget to pick up a laser or flashlight to mount on the picatinny rails!

ProsShooting with very good velocity. did better with accuracy than most of my guns.I bought it because the crony tests results I saw on you tube.
ConsCannot pierce the Co2 with the grips/handles on.

The best CO2 pellet pistol at any price
I can't say enough good things about this Crosman Vigilante, I own 2 of them, One is the older 357 mag, before it was designated the "Vigilante" Super accurate with a cheap Red/green dot sight, affordable to buy and add extra mag wheel cylinders, east to operate, opens like a Scholfield. Shoots heavy wadcutter pellets best, dead on out to 30 yards, will punch a hole in a steel soup can inside or 25 yards on a straight on shot.
ProsSome tips 1) shoot Crosman 7.4 gr wadcutter pellets, cheap 1250 milk carton $8 at Walmart, best, most accurate. 2) Only use Umarex quality CO2s, the Daisy and Crosman are weak and dirty with soot 3) Use the clear Gamo air gun oil,Pelgun red dye crap sucks 4) a cheap Red/Green dot sight, $14-$20, it must have the narrow, straight tube not to cover the break button 5) I shoot my Vigilante without the grips, so my hand keeps the CO2 warmer and stronger 6) Buy a FOAMACTION Rifle and Pistol Shooting Block Bench Rest and weight it with a heavy bolt or fishing weight and seal it with Hot Melt Glue so it doesn't blow over. 7) It's a personal choice, I paint all my realistic looking Air Guns with an Orange muzzle. I live in an Urban Setting, surrounded by Democrats Here's a pic of my Vigilante, Hope this helped...
ConsI would improve the cylinder position lock, the wheel clip will move when the gun doesn't have the trigger to the rear to allign it. A click in position lock between shots would keep the wheel clip from moving past the next shot. Also,Maybe make a super Vigilante with twin CO2s, perhaps in 22 cal....?

Reliable as a stone..........but more fun
I bought a Vigilante a couple of years ago and it has proven to be very reliable and fun to shoot.. So for this Christmas I ordered three more for presents to the grandchildren. They're easier for the kids to operate than some of the others, especially the spring piston and SSPs I thought they would like but weren't strong enough for.
ProsReliable and easy to operate. I chronied mine at 450+/-.
ConsMight be a little hard to break open to change cyclinders. The grips had some play but was easily cured with electrical tape judiciously positioned.

ProsInexpensive Easy to load and shoot
ConsA bit loud Handle is a bit of a loose fit

Favorite gun
I bought this gun a few days ago and have shot about 10 different types of pellets through it, it favors crosman premiere 7.9 grn hollow points, but with all ammo I used it shot great and was very accurate at 20 yrds, I was able to shoot all the was through a 1/4 in peice of plywood at 10 yrds, so this gun hits hard
ProsSolid Really accurate Hits hard Never jams
ConsLoose grip, but preforms so great that u won't notice

Cheap and fun
I bought a refurbished one just to try the fun of shooting everywhere. My family enjoyed very much the challenge. Because it is BB and pellet air pistol, we have tried them both. And It was pretty accurate at 10 yards. Pellets at 15 yards were hitting close to the aimed spot while BBs were flying all around :)
ProsCheap and decent. Fun toy. CO2 last enough to enjoy the shooting
ConsPlastic cover on the handle are loose. Hope Crossman will find a way to make them to stay in place without shaking in the hand.

Nice pellet pistol, happy with this purchase. Get one (or two for this price)!
Looks and functions like new. Bought as a 25 yd or less pinker, could not have asked for more at this price! Make sure you buy extra clips at the same time (they come in a 3-pack), You'll be glad you did! Mounted a laser for indoor fun. I'm using 6.9 gr RWS Super-H-Points, they seem to work well in this pistol. AirgunDepot shipped quickly with awesome packaging. No complaints.
ProsPowerful and accurate for a co2 pistol. Love the fact that it shoots double OR single action. Adjustable rear sight Rifled barrel Shoots pellets
ConsFor this price, Nothing! Don't let the grip issue scare you away from this pistol. Yes they are a bit loose but really? The power and accuracy far outweigh the grip issue, it's just not that big of a problem.

No flaws noted.
They only way you know this is refurbished is the small sticker on the bottom that says, "Refurbished". Full power, deadly accurate at 10 yds. Quick to reload, fun to shoot. Buy it, you'll like it. After receiving my own I bought one for my grandson so we can have some friendly competitions.
ProsGood power, accurate out of the box, quick reloading, shoots BBs, or pellets.

Crosman Vigilante BB & Pellet Revolver
This is a nice gun and seems pretty accurate. I like that I can shoot BB's or pellets. I stocked up on extra rotary mags anticipating the fun ahead.
ProsAffordable. Accurate. Fun. Easy to load. Comes with a holster and extra rotary mags.
ConsPlastic, lots of it. the grips, also plastic, tend to rattle about unless you hold them very tight. Crosman should address these grips. The gun is quite light.

Sometimes you cant tell why someone sends the gun back and it becomes a refurb...this time i can tell...the plastic grips dont fit all that well, they almost fall off.. not a big problem fixed my own way and is fine
Prosfun to shoot at cans and targets...nice that it takes pellets
Consgrips were not tight fitting to the gun, rattled a little...easy fix though

I was late to the party
The Vigilante has been around a long time and I've avoided buying it because it just didn't seem a quality gun would be out there for under $50 and packaged in plastic. Wow, was I wrong. You can't find a better value in airgun revolvers. It's accurate. It has an accessory rail. It's SA/DA. The trigger is good, especially for a revolver. The magazines are very inexpensive. It looks good. I'm sure anyone buying this would be happy with their decision.
ProsAccurate, nice trigger, solid handling, easy to load and shoot, great value.
ConsHandle on mine was a bit creaky; not really loose, but not perfectly solid either.

very good
i wanted to get an air pistol and i narrowed it down to the baby eagle the s&w and the vigilante. the s&w and the baby eagle looked cheaply made the crosman had a metal frame and it was rifled so I had to have it i expected the rifling to have a higher twist rate but the grooves were very deep so it shoots great i put a laser on it and it shoots 1.6in groups at 30ft only thing is the double action sucks it is kind of clunky and makes the gun shoot horribly now about the shipping it always gets here early all the way from utah god bless agd

Good as New Refurb. Pistol for Crazy low price!
I have owned the previous incarnation of the Crosman ."357" with faux wood grips for over 30 years, shot them for about 35 years. Yes that was my main shooter, and it LASTED AND LASTED until wear and tear made it leak CO2. They do wear out eventually, so I wanted to buy another since it is a great and accurate plinker. I was a little concerned over the modern makeover, but not anymore after getting a refurbished piece from Airgun Depot (shipped really fast all the way from Utah to IL even in the Xmas mail season). MY REFURBISHED GUN WAS AS GOOD AS NEW! NO BLEMISHES, TIGHT AND RIGHT, CLEANED THE BARREL AND READY TO SHOOT! Why pay full price? These guns last a long time with proper maintenance (OIL THOSE CO2 TIPS EVERYTIME!) I saved my old "wood" grips and barrel and other parts from the older gun, will see if they can be fit as spares to this gun. The improvements made: CO2 nut is inside the grips, not tell tale sticking out under handle, (yes this looks pretty real from a distance, DON'T be STUPID in PUBLIC!!) The addition of BB clip option (but I will not use BB's , why waste the nice rifled barrel grooves?) I do like the accessory rail so i can add a light and laser in the future. As always, the rear sight is range AND windage adjustable! This is one of the more powerful CO2 pellet pistols due to excellent mechanics and long rifled barrel. I keep mine close for actual HOME PROTECTION! I think 12 heavy pellets in a close group in some would be burglar's face/ head/ eyes is a pretty good deterrent and decent option if your spouse does not want real firearms in the bedroom.
Prossee above. BEST value in a CO2 pistol (Brand new is a GREAT VALUE, REFURBISHED IS EVEN BETTER!) for fun target shooting, a misfire or jam will not stop you (just like a real revolver!)
Consplastic grips seem a little thin and could be more durable.

Refurbished Crosman Vigilante
Well I was more than surprised when I recieved it.I was expecting it to look refurbished, but to my surprise it even came in a box and looked new. I tested it and it worked fine.I think they even improved the catch on top it seems more secure than the old .357 model. I would not hesitate to buy refurbished again.I am very pleased with my purchase.

Crosman 3576w
Item arrived on time and good shape. Have owned a Crosman 357 before so knew what to expect. This one is a much better shooter than the old one I had. Very easy to load and fire. I only shoot single-action so cannot comment on the double action trigger. Buying refurbished is better than buying new, not just because of the money savings, but because the pistol is completely inspected for any defects. That is sometimes overlooked in the rush to get the product out the door and to the customer. If I have my choice between new and refurbished I will not buy new.
ProsCost. Quite a savings over new. Good shooter. Easy to load. Just a FUN gun.
ConsNone that I found.

cowboy gun
Feels like a real cowboy gun. Sure is fun to plink with the Gamo Rocker pellet trap, makes you feel like you're at a carnival. If you're looking for a classic pellet pistol, or want to live out your fantasy shooting a revolver that isnt just blanks or caps, this is it. I have a few cons, but I wont spoil its high ratings
Prossolid feel, semi-auto feature, lots of shots per clip, looks like a Colt Python
Conssight is flimsy, and you cant really mount a sight on the rail without making it look like a ridiculous star wars blaster. C02 is a pain to reload. It's a little too realistic; could get you shot by the police if they see you using it in public.

I have had this pistol for about 3 months now and I have to say it is a fantastic gun for the price that you pay. Very accurate and powerful for a co2 air gun.The only thing that seems off about this is the external plastic barrel.

Well worth the money
This gun has exceeded my expectations. It is definitely accurate enough for my plinking needs. I shoot offhand, 2 hands, and it will hit a pop can every time at 30-40' unless I screw up the shot. Trigger pull quality for something in this price range is much better than I expected, especially double action. The adjustable sights were an attractive feature although I have to say I never touched them. The sights were regulated perfectly right out of the package. Like so many have recommended, including Crosman, I put a drop of Crosman oil on the tip of each CO2 cartridge. I just emptied the first tin of 500 pellets and had zero gas leakage. I am getting about 70 shots per cartridge, which is what I expected. The only concern is with the longevity of the plastic retaining clip that holds each grip panel on the frame. If this does break some day, maybe it is possible to buy a new pair from Crosman.
ProsAccurate, functions without hangups, single and double action trigger quality is pretty darn good, adjustable sights (if you need to regulate sights), full size feel.
ConsThe retaining clip on the grips seem like it may break some day but maybe this fear is unfounded.

Substantial, Accurate, Fun
This revolver feels so perfect in my hand it is hard to describe. Crosman got the ergonomic grip right. No, they got it beautifully. Since it is so comfortable to hold, it is therefore easy to shoot. The rear sight adjusts for both E & W so if you stick with the guy's own sights, you will find this gun shoots beautifully small groups. You can shoot it DA and SA, which adds a little variety. There is no recoil. Despite the lack of kickback reality, it is a very good gun for practicing technique. Buy extra magazines. The co2 is easy to replace as the grip comes apart. The knob is contained in the grip so realism is maintained. Nice.
ProsHeft, ergonomics, action, quality construction.
ConsCan't identify any.

"Dirty Harry" Air Gun
Worth every penny! A lot of plastic, but metal where it needs to be (trigger, hammer, frame, etc.). Large framed revolver. Single, or double action. 12 round clip (buy the 3 pack of extra clips, and a tube of "pellgun oil", do it now to save on shipping)! This way you can load up 4 at a time, and when you've shot them all, you'll know it's time to put a new CO2 cartridge in. You may get another clip worth of CO2 out of it, but I like good strong shots. Will it stack pellets? Probably not, but I can rapid fire 12 pellets into just over a 1" pattern @ 7 yards, (same distance used for C.C.W. test) and a lot smaller using single action. All the reviews I've seen on this gun are excellent, I would have to agree. My dad shot me in the butt with one very much like this one about 50 years ago when I walked up to change targets! I would suggest you teach your children firearm safety without using them as the example. Note; you put a drop of the pellgun oil on the tip of each CO2 cartridge to protect the seals. Be careful, its runnier than Gates BBQ sauce!
ProsGreat gun, great price.
ConsLARGE gun, for small hands. Not exactly a J frame (S&W), if you know what I mean.

I've had it for a few years, it was good for the first few months but then it started to malfunction. I put over 300 dollars worth of pellets and Co2 through this gun.

ConsPlastic rotary magazine doesn't rotate and pellets get stuck sometimes. Plastic grips become wobbly Co2 seal leaked after a few months Front part of gun is plastic

A revolver for the ages
The first time I purchased this pistol (the 357-6 version is basically the same minus grips color), I fell in love. Crosman then re-designed this handguns grip for a positive fell and superior handling with finger grooves. The 3576W gives 10 shots as fast as your finger can pull the trigger plus single action for more precise shots (my preferred method of firing this handgun). I wish I still owned that 357-6 from the mid 1980's but this one can be had for virtually the same price here. I will add another one to my collection soon!
ProsAccurate, fairly powerful, and feels very much like the Colt Python it's meant to copy.
ConsSemi rough double action that does break in for smoother action eventually.

great pistol
I bought this from another website a few years ago. I'm not sure if they mention it here but this gun fires BB'S AND PELLETS. The BB's will sometimes fall out of the cylinder and leave you firing blank shots, but the pellets will not fall out. If you plan on doing anything besides target shooting with this gun I recommend that you tape over or use some string and tie around the handle. I was riding on a quad and I had the pistol on my hip and the plastic handle cracked open and flew off. If you have this problem you can fix it with a few feet of parachord wrapped around the handle to protect the Co2 cartridge.
ProsShoots fast Accurate Will not jam like some other pistols Fires BB's and pellets Can be used for pest control at close range
ConsLoose handle

Yesterday i went outside and i was shooting a 8 inch by 10 inch piece of drywall from 40 yards (120 ft) with a crosswind of about 8 mph. The sight adjustment is tight and very well made, there is no wobble. I dropped it on concrete and i got scratched but still works great. I have shot a ten shot group the size of a quarter from 30 feet. (iron sites) Once in a while when you are firing single action the cylinder won't rotate all the way and you will have a miss fire. this has never happened to me while shooting double action.
Prosvery well made great price looks real feels real shoots very well
Consmiss fire every now and then.

.357 pellet pistol
This is the best pellet pistol i have used, the sights are easy to change, and the look and feel is realistic.
ProsIt is inexpensive Has good knockdown power Shoots more than 6 shots Reliable
ConsBe warned, the paint chips easlily, and the Co2 turn-screw breaks off... but to fix that, pop a small screwdriver in the hole (Works faster than screw) and your good to go.

A sweet pistol!
Lots of fun... Much more so than a single shot. I live on Wake Island (Mid-Pacific) and we have thousands of rats on the Island. While a rifle is easier to use and wins the rat hunts. This crossman pistol has earned a lot of respect out here. 25 - 35 "good" shots per cartridge, is fair enough. My pistol has killed at least a few hundred rats! INEXPENSIVE! SPORTING!!!
ProsAdjustible sights, double action, inexpensive (I buying another), to replace mine (see dislike) - I can now say that I am a crack shot with a pistol!
Conscheap paint, front sight not high-lighted, cartridge tighting screw has fallen apart.
