Devastating, authoritative knockdown power! The Sumatra 2500 is an easy-to-cock, lever-action repeater. This precharged pneumatic (PCP) has two built-in chambers (380cc total) that hold high-pressure air (3,000 psi) from a scuba tank, hand pump or compressor.

It has a two-stage adjustable trigger that is either double- or single-action. The sights are pretty unique, in that both the front and rear are adjustable. The front post can be adjusted for elevation by turning a small wheel under the post. The rear is a two-hole aperture that flips from a small to large hole and is adjustable for windage.Accuracy is the name of the game when it comes to shooting, and the Sumatra 2500 excels in that area: 3/8 ctc at 30 yds. with Eun Jin pellets. To get the most from this airgun, you'll want to mount a scope on the 11mm dovetails. The finely rifled steel barrel (1:18 RH twist) is fed by a 6-shot cylinder that makes for quick follow-up shots. The cylinder makes it easy to use longer pellets and even mix-and-match different pellet lengths and types.

The adjustable power wheel has 13 settings, making this one of the most versatile powerhouses on the market! You'll get about 11 shots on high power and 18 on medium. Muzzle energy ranges from 36.85 to 17.83 ft.-lbs.

Includes probe with 1/8" BSPP male threads and 2 rotary clips. A hard Plano rifle case (PL1502-01) is strongly suggested!

Sumatra 2500 Test .25
AirGun Depot did a test matching the pellet to the rifle. I saw the results and bought the rifle. No way in the world disappointed with the decision. It is loud. But very accurate and powerful. I have done shot at 100 yards with ease on high ower. The ridan and HN Humters act. The Hunter's Supply slugs are great but do not group quite as tight. I matched it to a UTG 3X9 scope and it is dead on up from 25 to 65 yards. At 70 yards starts to drop.. Souther Air gunner hit coke cans at 135 yards. I don't have that much room. But it and never look back. Well worththe cost. The carbine is great for brushy woods, otherwise get the rifle.Get about 12 very accurate shot before falling off (dropping) a bit.
ProsPowerful and accurate. Very reliable.
ConsLoud. But not overly loud compared to any rim fire of center fire.
Best UsesHunting up to Coyotes and small pigs. Killed three hogs.

One of the best!!
Great gun! Short and accurate. Cheap but excellent quality. Capable of dime sized groups at 50 - 75 yards depending on wind. This is simply one of the best deals for the money. I can get 32 ft lbs energy using Eun Jin 16.1 gr pellets. Accuracy is one hole out to 25 - 35 yards, and only opens slightly beyond that! It will chronograph up to 1350 fps with extremely light 4.0 gr alloy pellets, but accuracy is not great at that speed. All pellets except alloy shot extremely well if velocity was kept below about 1080 fps. Some had to have velocity reduced to below 900 fps to shoot accurately. Generally, if they are pure lead and/or thin skirts you have to go below 900 or even 800 fps to get good accuracy. If they are harder lead alloy or have thick skirts they can go around 1000 - 1100 fps accurately. This gun is beautiful, light, handles like a dream, fires 6 shots as fast as you can work the lever and pull the trigger, and in general does every thing you would want from a gun costing 2 - 3 times it's price. My only criticisms are the rear sights, which sit way to low, and the aperture is way to small. Had to drill mine out to make it marginally useful. Also, the trigger, though adjustable only goes down to about 3 pounds, and I like 1.5 - 2 lbs.
ProsPrice. Accuracy. Quality. Looks. Awesome fun factor!
ConsLess than desirable rear sights and trigger pull. Drill rear sight apertures out to make marginally useful. And it may be possible to replace the trigger adjustment screw with a longer one to get a lighter pull?
