Traditions to Pass Down
Norica Airguns has been in business in Eibar, Spain, since 1917, making high-quality airguns that can last through generations. Now they’re bringing those traditions to America.
It begins with the Norica Viriatus 2.0 BP, a regulated PCP that comes in .177, .22, and .25 and shoots up to 1020 fps. The beechwood bullpup stock is beautifully stained, has a comfortable grip, and smooth forward-positioned side lever action.
Next are the gas pistons. The Norica Spider GRS is a single-shot break barrel that comes in .177, .22, and .25 calibers and shoots up to 984 fps. The ergonomic muzzle break makes for easy cocking. And there’s no worry about spring fatigue with gas piston airguns. Their other gas pistons, Norica Dragon GRS Evolution Max, Norica Hawk GRS, and Norica Omnia ZRS all come in .177 and .22 and are designed to give you more power with less recoil. They all have a solid steel breech for ease of cocking and better durability over time.
And finally the spring pistons. The Norica Dream Hunter underlever comes in .177 and .22, shoots up to 980 fps, and has fiber optic sights for out-of-the-box accuracy. If you prefer adding an optic, it has an 11 mm dovetail rail. The Norica Dragon, Norica Magnum Pro, and Norica Titan are break barrels. The Dragon comes in .177, .22, and .25, and shoots up to 1000 fps. The Magnum Pro comes in .22 and shoots 790 fps. The Titan comes in .177 and shoots 620 fps. If you’re looking for an accurate rifle for pesting, small game or target shooting give Norica air rifles a try.
FX Adds to the Dreamline
The FX Dreamline Power-Pup Lil Slugger is the newest addition to the FX Dreamline series. It’s a powerful bullpup with several caliber options (.177, .22, .25, .30) and two air tank options (aluminum or carbon fiber). The power plenum has been upgraded to offer better performance for slugs and heavy pellets. It’s compatible with other Dreamline models for modularity and uses FX’s standard Side-Shot magazines.
Dynamic Air Power
Also new to Airgun Depot is Dynamic Air Rifles (DAR), who have released their third-generation air rifle. It may not look like anything new, but this regulated PCP, in .22 and .25 caliber, has great accuracy at an affordable price. We explored all of the rifle’s features and provide a detailed review in the DAR Gen 3 Definitive Guide. Check it out and let us know what you think.
Until next month, Shoot safe and have fun.
